CQ News June 2010

My goodness it is June already! In 2 days I will be driving to Sydney to attend the Quilt & Craft Expo at Rosehill Racecourse…

Any last minute orders can be packed tomorrow to be delivered postage free at this show! Especially the amazing Salem cutting mats that are difficult & expensive to post!

There will be a great display of quilts at this show from AMQA members for shop owners/teachers/distributors to see all the different types of quilting available today from our machine quilters.

We will also have lots of information on AMQ Festival right next to the A1/Intelliquilter booth! Come along to collect your entry forms to enter all your amazing quilts into the quilt show. Chat to both Sharon Parkinson & I about Festival & what will be on offer. We have had an amazing response by generous sponsors that has now allowed AMQA Inc & Festival to provide an additional category in the Quilt Show! We now have an art category for you to enter your quilts into…

I will have supplies with me for sale at Quilt & Craft Expo, but am limited with space. So if you have anything special you want then please let me know, so you can take a look & decide if it is for you or not. Please note that you must pre-register to attend this event. It is not open to the general public to walk in off the street. There is no charge to enter – only if you attend any of the workshops.

I look forward to seeing lots of you at market on Saturday & Sunday!

For those staying home I have a treat on my website! If you visit the Patsy Thompson pages showing all her DVD’s – you can now watch a preview of her products! This amazing teacher is so detailed, calm & innovative that you just can’t help learning how to machine quilt with her showing you all the tips, tricks & amazing designs on her professional DVD’s. Enjoy the show…all on a domestic sewing machine, but the designs are so good for longarmers too!

If anyone is even contemplating purchasing an A1 Longarm quilting machine or an IntelliQuilter computerised system that will go on  'any' brand longarm machine, then don't hesitate to contact me!! Prices are subject to exchange rates at all times.

Come & see us to have a play on the A1 Quilting Machine & see the amazing Intelliquilter computerised system at the Quilt & Craft Expo in Sydney in June 2010.
