CQ News April 2011

Boy does time fly when we are having fun. We have just completed a 10 day trip to Victoria where we met some wonderful new owners. Off again tomorrow to the other side of Australia to meet even more new owners. Any orders received this next week will be sent next Monday 18th in order of receipt. Once I get home again I only have 2 weeks to get myself organised for my trip to the USA. I’ll be in Salt Lake City teaching two classes at HMQS and then staying for Quilt Market the following week to check out all the ‘new’ items that just might have to find their way home for you to see. Hopefully I don’t get lost amongst the nearly 3000 booths at this show!!

I do hope I get to meet lots of lovely quilters in my classes over there. There is still time for you to sign up if you are wanting to! I am teaching a 4 hour hands on drawing class called ‘Fancy Feather Fiasco’ along with a 2hr demo/lecture class called ‘Tempting Templates, making the most of your rulers & templates’. My sister, Helen Stubbings, will also be with me and teaching two fantastic classes using domestic machines and a version of her Colourque’ technique that she has been using & promoting since 2001.
