It has certainly warmed up here finally! Today is 35 deg C and hot north winds that are sure to ripen our crops ready to harvest. It is a very late start for us – 3 weeks later than normal, which means that it will be late finish probably after christmas this year…
Subject to the weather (isn’t that what being a farmer means – no planning until is has rained, has stopped raining & then when the sun shines??) will be when we can get away for our summer holiday break with the kids at the beach. We are normally away for 2 1/2 weeks in January, so fingers crossed!
